Why Wait, Check First was started
Founded by a Marine Corps veteran with a background in software testing and cybersecurity, Wait, Check First brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to helping older adults recognize scams, strengthen their digital security, and know what steps to take if something happens. After an older family friend experienced fraud, Wait, Check First began offering patient, hands-on scam education—and this course brings that same approach online.
